Beauty Point is a small resort town in the Tamar Valley, 45 minutes' drive
northwest of Launceston. Here you can:
- Visit Seahorse World
- Fish from the Beauty Point pontoon
- Swim at Sandy Beach

- Catch the daily Shuttlefish Ferry across the Tamar to George Town
Beauty Point is the location for the start of the Australian Three Peaks Race,
held each Easter in front of thousands of well wishers. This endurance event
involves sailing to three mountain ranges around Tasmania, then running up and
