Tamar Visitor Centre, located in Exeter—a fully accredited destination to fulfill all your visitor needs. Our aim is to provide first-class, yet good old-fashioned visitor services, inspiration to explore, and booking services for the region's diverse attractions and experiences. You can also shop through the large range of local souvenirs to suit all tastes and budgets.

Open seven days a week, between 9.00am - 4.00pm, our friendly and knowledgeable team are available to assist in creating the perfect visitor itinerary and aid with bookings for accommodation, dining, tours, attractions, cellar doors, and experiences.

Everyone is welcome at the Tamar Visitor Centre. We’re committed to making your visit as comfortable and accessible as possible, with step-free access, accessible parking and toilets, comfortable seating and clear, unobstructed pathways. Our team is trained in disability awareness and is happy to assist with information and enquiries.

We welcome assistance dogs and service animals, and provide accessible information and communication options, including written information, plain-English resources and support for visitors with different communication needs.
